Where does a relatively nice woman go to meet a relatively nice man? It seems impossible to find anyone online who isn't completely shallow and thoroughly selfabsorbed. Why is that the case? Be real and you get real. There are many real women and men on here. But real is relative to who you are as a person and what you want out of life. Because of my busy life, I have proactively used CL to find dates. Many of those dates misrepresented themselves as younger, more in shape and open minded when they clearly weren't. But this occasional foray into CL has produced some gems that have at least added to my friends list and have increasing my interaction in the outside world. Ladies, gentlemen be honest and expect honesty. Meet for coffee or tea and don't continue a date with someone that has lied or misrepresented themselves. but be truthful and nice ie, You should really post a picture that is more recent or actually you! Call a liar out. Know that everyone deserves respect and if you are not attracted you can still have coffee or tea with someone nice and maybe gain a new friend. Ditching out because you didn't ask the right questions or exchange enough photos is just plain rude and ignorant. For some of us, a post means many replies. Please, don't take it personally when you don't get a response. If you only want sex, only post and reply to casual encounters. Know that meeting many people here has sparked wave of dating possibilities in my daily life. Ever thinking of meeting a decent guy? Yes, a touch romantic but not overboard. More the type that likes to take day trips to the beach or maybe try a new restaurant, its been a while but I do enjoy boating. But I am lousy on water skis!
