Well for some reason my post didnt show. thank god I thought it was me LOL .. Ok here we go again. Im looking for someone to hang out with. see how it goes. I enjoy hiking, photography,bbq's,movies.nascar,computers. I work nights and off weekends.so having weekends off would be a must if I planned on spending any time with anyone. I dont think I ask to much. someone close to my age. local to my area. in shape and a sense of humor is a must. Someone with at least a few things in common. I dont mind having a few drinks but I dont really do bars. I dont mind going with friends to shoot pool or darts but unlike my girlfriends I dont look forward to the weekend just to go to one. Im more of a homebody. love my yard work.love hanging outdoors. yes I even have my fishing license but just try to get one of my girlfriends to go.Im a jeans and tees girl. have to dress for work so weekends are jeans and sweats. I'm well read, if not in part because of my BART ride to work everyday that gives me ample time to burn through books. The last couple of books I've read The God of Small Things by A. Roy, This Earth of Mankind P. Toer, The Tipping Point by M. Gladwell and The Sirens of Saturn by K. Vonnegut. I'm looking for some one that also reads and analyzes what they read...usually makes for good conversations. I love the outdoors. I've been called a hippy by more people than I would like to enumerate though I think they miss the mark a bit. I've backpacked the John Muir Trail, been on some long Treks in New Zealand, climbed some of the Cascade volcanoes, and been up the Andes and down in the Amazon in the last couple of years. In nature I find solace, a place to reflect and have just a good time! I find people who are physically fit and like being outdoors very attractive, because they tend to have an out going or at least a cando type of personality. I'm stable, have a dynamic career biotech and photography, and have an open and generous heart. On the physical aspect side of things I'm 5'9, Caucasian, skinny but muscular rock climber and have lots of stamina. I would like to meet someone with similar interests in the outdoors and literature. Maybe we could go for a hike through the hills or through a city and get acquainted? Please write me back about what the last books you read were, where you like to hike in the area, and a photo if you feel like it.
